Damien at MINI of Omaha (H&H Premier) is the go-to person for MINIs in not just Nebraska but the entire Midwest! It’s refreshing to work with a car salesperson who actually owns the brand of vehicle you’re buying (IIRC, he and his wife own two Hardtops and are looking for a Clubman!), because he is a font of knowledge on all things MINI and worked like crazy to get me my third MINI!Long story short, I was actually ready to switch to Volvo after six years of being a proud MINI owner (2013 Pepper White 2-Door Hardtop and a 2016 Iced Chocolate 2-Door Hardtop), thanks to a horrible leasing experience at the Kansas City area MINI dealership (Baron Automotive) where I got my 2016 Hardtop. My plan was to turn in my 2016 Hardtop at MINI of Omaha and Uber over to Volvo to get a new C40, but I’m so glad I gave MINI a second chance by working with Damien and his manager Tim!I greatly appreciated how they treated me like a loyal MINI customer and jumped some hurdles to find me my third MINI throughout the Midwest and Mountain Region! Since MINI of Omaha didn’t have any cars meeting all my criteria, Damien was able to pull up new inventory at other MINI dealerships in nearby states like Kansas, Iowa, and Minnesota. He said he could have a new car brought to Omaha on the back of a truck, so it wouldn’t have any miles from the delivery. After finding one at the Minneapolis dealership, he went out of his way to find me a loaner vehicle so I wouldn’t be without a car in the interim of the car’s delivery. Upon looking at the cars available at the MINI dealership in the Denver area, the guys in Omaha were able to get me a new 2020 instead! This is my PSA to the people of Nebraska: Do NOT waste your time, money, or miles by taking a weekend to go to KC or Des Moines for your next MINI, because each has their disadvantages! The dealership in KC has opaque salespeople, who didn’t disclose to me they were leasing a service vehicle, whose warranty would expire six months prior to the end of my lease, leaving me to pick up the cost of new brakes. In addition, getting your vehicle licensed when buying from the MINI dealerships in KC and DM come with bureaucratic costs and unnecessary waiting times. Both dealerships have policies in which the dealership has to send in for the licensing on the buyer’s behalf, which is great if you live in those states as the spirit of the policy is to convenience its local customers from having to go to their respective DMVs, but it’s nonsense to require it for out-of-state buyers. As a Nebraskan, you are required to pay these dealerships a fee to have them send in for the licensing in Nebraska, wait for the Nebraska DMV to deliver it to KC or DM, and then they airmail you the licensing in Nebraska. Just save your money and time and work with Damien at MINI of Omaha to find your next dream MINI!
I've always had a love for MINI Coopers and we finally were able to look at purchasing one for our family. Damien was very patient with us as we explored different options that would work for our family and was happy to help answer any questions we had. We are very happy with our Clubman!
It felt like it was like joining a family. Great car with all of the features we were looking for.
Had a great experience with Mini of Omaha. Took a look around and had an excellent discussion with Damien. Got lots of good information and didn’t feel pressured. Great selection for what Mini you want. Planning to get our next Mini from here.
Dean at Mini of Omaha has been great helping us get just the deal we wanted on a new lease, and providing excellent service with any questions we might have. Highly recommended!
Great team. Thanks especially to Dean Johnson for top notch sale experience and support afterwards.
